The books and this website are dedicated to all my friends and family, without whom none of this would have been possible.

To Paul: You gave me the courage to take up writing. And in doing so I have found another hobby that I am passionate about.

To Laurie and Sandra: No matter how many provinces separate us, you will always be in my thoughts.

And last but certainly not least, to Jim. Words cannot express my gratitude for all the help you have given me. I know you don't consider these characters yours but I have to disagree. You have helped me shape and mould them and without your help these characters would have been mere cardboard cutouts. That makes them just as much yours as they are mine.

You helped me establish backgrounds for each of them as well as help with research. And that's only a fraction of the help you have extended to me, and for which I am grateful. I only hope that when you get your first novel published I can write a short story based on your characters and be half as good as the short story you wrote for me.
