A common practice of mine for writing is to shoot ideas back and forth among a small group of friends. My good friend Jim (you know who you are) and I were discussing events that would happen in "Endgame" and what Dana/Nightcat's last adventure would be before crossing over into the afterlife. I had an extremely brief idea how I wanted it to play out and he decided to write a short story about it.

Jim considers this piece "fan fiction" but I think that with a few changes it could actually be series canon, and I would like this short story to be published with "Endgame" as an epilogue. I absolutely love what he has written and am quite honoured that he chose my characters in the "Kitty-verse" to star in such a moving story.
