"Where the Devil Dwells" takes place approximately one month after the events in "The Darkness of Shadows". Dana struggles to retain some amount of normalcy in her life as she juggles her dual identities. And if that wasn't stressful enough she now faces the biggest challange ever: introducing her boyfriend to her parents as well as meeting his!

During this stressful time, she must also deal with a creepy stalker who wants nothing more than to team up with her and will stop at nothing to make her comply. And in the midst of everything, Dana secret identity gets published in the paper and she must attempt to convince everyone she's not Nightcat. And if that wasn't bad enough, Dana experiences problems with her morphing ability that may strip her of her Nightcat identity once and for all.

All in all, just a typical day for Nightcat.
