"Endgame" is technically the last book in the series. Because the characters never age and time
doesn't pass, during the regular run of the series no one will know where the characters will be
in five years time. "Endgame" is the solution to all of that. It takes place roughly five years
in the future and once again chronicals Dana's life as Nightcat.
This is very much a coming of age type of story where characters get married, start a family and
some characters actually pass into the afterlife. The book will almost be reminiscent of many short
stories published together but will all have a common theme. It starts off five years in the future and will
carry on from there in various increments all the way up to Nightcat's last adventure.
But just because this is the last book chronologically in the series does not mean that it will be
the last book written. It is simply to let the readers know what will happen later on in the timeline but happens
far enough in the future that many more adventures can be told before reaching the starting point of "Endgame".
